HALINA E. QASEM JOINS SPENCER SAVINGS BANK AS BRANCH MANAGER OF THE CLIFTON VAN HOUTEN BRANCH
ELMWOOD PARK, NJ (June 9, 2009) – Spencer Savings Bank, headquartered in Elmwood Park, NJ named Halina E. Qasem as Branch Manager of the Van Houten Avenue branch in Clifton NJ. Ms. Qasem, of Wayne, NJ, has over 25 years of experience in the banking industry and has an extensive professional background in branch sales and management.
Prior to joining Spencer, Ms. Qasem was the Branch Manager at the Greater Community Bank in Little Falls, NJ where she supervised a $78 million customer base. Her responsibilities included business development, training new managers and customer relations. Ms. Qasem began her career in banking, where she spent more than 10 years holding various positions including Sales Manager at The Bank of New York in East Hanover, NJ.
