SPENCER HOSTS "SHRED-IT" DAY AT THE CLIFTON PIAGET AVENUE BRANCH
ELMWOOD PARK, NJ (October 28, 2009) – Spencer Savings Bank will be hosting "Shred-It" Day at their Clifton branch location on 437 Piaget Avenue. The event will take place on November 7th between 1:30PM and 3:30PM. Residents are invited to dispose of their unwanted confidential documents for free. A Shred-It truck will be on hand to destroy all sensitive material.
On "Shred-It" Day, Spencer Savings Bank will provide a secure method for shredding personal documents. At the Clifton Piaget Avenue branch, the destruction truck will destroy all documents behind a locked security screen. The finely shredded confetti that remains from the documents will then be recycled into a number of different paper products. Shredding personal documents is one of the safest ways to safeguard personal information and prevent identity theft.
