Spencer Savings Bank, a community bank headquartered in Elmwood Park, partnered with the Morris Habitat for Humanity for the second year in a row and participated in a Build Day. A team of 7 Spencer employees took part in the day’s work on May 27th, which included foundation work on four single family homes in Dover. The team stripped the footing forms and then marked out the corners for the next team of workers to know where to place the foundation blocks. Spencer Savings Bank also made a donation of $1,500 to the organization.
“Last year, Spencer opened our doors for business in Parsippany and began seeking opportunities to partner with the community. We will always strive to do our part in helping families and communities thrive here, and that’s why we continue to work with Morris Habitat for Humanity,” said Janel Bazih, Vice President of Marketing, Spencer Savings Bank.
