Spencer Savings Bank is pleased to welcome its newest member to the executive management team, Steven M. Fusco, as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Fusco will be responsible for the overall management of Spencer’s Finance Division, including the areas of accounting, treasury, financial reporting as well as financial planning and analysis. He will be responsible for aligning financial goals and will assist the President and CEO with the bank’s strategic plan and overall management of the bank. This includes due diligence, risk assessment, evaluation and integration of business opportunities.
With over 30+ years of banking and leadership experience, Fusco comes to Spencer from SB One Bank, where he was the Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He holds a BS degree in Finance from Seton Hall University and an MBA in Management Information Systems from St. Peter’s University. He is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and Certified Financial Manager (CFM). Fusco is currently the Chairman of the Board and member of the Financial Managers Society (FMS) and a past president of the FMS NY/NJ Chapter as well as a Board member of the Meadowlands Y.
