Another summer is upon us, and I have some especially exciting news to share with you: Spencer Savings Bank’s new Westfield Financial Center is officially open for business!
The beautiful and charming town of Westfield has a tech-savvy community that we know will be just as excited as we are about the latest technology that simplifies the banking experience. Because Westfield is also a commuter hub, the Financial Center is operating with extended hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with a 24-hour ATM available. And with large national banks underserving the small business community, we are making it our mission to fill the gap with a major and ongoing commitment to local Union County business owners.
Spencer recently award $26,000 in scholarships to local gifted students. I would like to personally acknowledge our 2018 Spencer Scholarship Program recipients and congratulate them on all their hard work and accomplishments! Our community commitment is stronger than ever. These last few months have been busy ones. We’ve supported local veterans, local athletes, helped finance education, taught students about financial literacy, supported mental healthcare and more!
You’ll always find the Spencer team serving the community and improving lives. I am so proud of our staff for volunteering their time and efforts in making this happen.
