Our new hours of operation are Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
What are some of the newest improvements to customer service at Spencer Savings Bank?
Our newest improvement in Customer Service is focused on strengthening our customer relationships by offering a range of new technologies such as the introduction of our Teller Interactive Machine (TIM) at the new Spencer Savings Bank Financial Centerin Ewing. TIM will become an essential part of our business because it enables us tointeract with customers from a remote location.
How does the TIM machine work?
With TIM, our customers can talk to a teller through a video monitor right from our Customer Service Center located in Elmwood Park, N.J. The teller on the screen will remotely control the machine and all of its functions. This will allow faster service since the teller does not have to physically count the cash. TIM works like any other ATM, unless the customer requests to interact directly with a teller and can process various types of transactions such as cash withdrawals, cash and check deposits, check cashing, loan payments, account transfers and customer service inquiries.
Are TIM machines safe?
TIM is not only safe but convenient. It allows our customers to have control of how their transaction will be handled. We anticipate our customers adapting quickly to this new way of banking and liking the simplicity of banking with Spencer.
What can the Customer Service Center assist you with?
The Customer Service Center functions like a full capacity branch, providing support to our various channels such as mobile, online and telephone banking. We also offer personal and business loans. At the Customer Service Center, we can handle most of our customers’ banking needs without them having to go to a physical location.
What do you enjoy most about working in the Customer Service Center?
I truly enjoy the customer interaction and being able to assist customers with questions or concerns while providing an excellent customer service experience.
Can you tell us a little but about yourself and your banking career?
I have 15 years of management experience and a total of 20 years in retail banking. I graduated fromMontclair State University with a B.S. Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management.I currently reside in Wayne, NJ and have a nine year old daughter.
