Spencer Savings Bank held its annual Toy Drive, in December, with all of the Spencer locations collecting toys from employees and customers. On December 20th, the Spencer Santa and his elves were hard at work, visiting the children at the Paterson Family Center to deliver the surprises! This is a division of the New Jersey Community Development Corporation (NJCDC), a non-profit community development and social service agency focused on education, youth development, housing and community building initiatives. Each year the young children and staff get so excited for our visit, and the Spencer Santa, Mrs. Claus and Elves were all thrilled to distribute them!
The Spencer team then headed over to Care Plus in Hasbrouck Heights to drop off more donations. This collection was for one of their programs, “Adopt-An-Individual”. The Spencer staff “adopted” several families and purchased specific items on their wish list. We thank all of our employees and customers for their donations.
